Health and Safety Policy
Fountain Schools is committed to providing a safe, secure, and healthy environment for all learners, staff, parents, visitors, and members of the school community. We recognize that the well-being and safety of every child are fundamental to effective learning and personal development and are essential to our commitment to educational excellence.
The school strives to maintain facilities, equipment, and learning environments that support the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of all learners. We are committed to promoting safe practices and fostering a culture where health, safety, and mutual care are shared responsibilities.
All members of the school community are expected to conduct themselves responsibly and contribute to maintaining a safe environment. Learners are encouraged to follow school rules, use facilities appropriately, and demonstrate respect for themselves, others, and school property. Staff members are expected to promote safe practices, provide appropriate supervision, and respond promptly to situations that may affect the health or safety of learners.
Fountain Schools is committed to implementing reasonable measures to prevent accidents, injuries, and health-related incidents. Appropriate procedures and protocols are maintained to address emergencies, including medical situations, accidents, fire safety, and other unforeseen events that may arise within the school environment.
The school recognizes the importance of promoting health awareness and encouraging practices that support the physical and emotional well-being of learners. Guidance on personal hygiene, nutrition, physical activity, emotional wellness, and responsible behavior forms part of our commitment to holistic education and learner development.
Visitors, contractors, and all individuals accessing school premises are expected to comply with the school’s health and safety requirements and conduct themselves in a manner that supports the safety and well-being of learners and staff.
Parents and guardians play an important role in supporting the health and safety of learners by maintaining open communication with the school and providing relevant information that may assist in safeguarding their children’s well-being and educational experience.
The school reserves the right to implement appropriate measures and procedures necessary to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment and to respond effectively to circumstances that may affect the welfare of learners or the broader school community.
This Health and Safety Policy may be reviewed and updated periodically to ensure continued effectiveness and alignment with applicable laws, educational requirements, and best practices in health and safety management.
